I'm entering Squash club for my 2nd year in Unimas. But this week, we also do rock climbing.

Something i'm not satisfied with my life. I'm a christian. I've been knowing sermons since young, but still struggle, or not even bother, to deal with my life, doing what God likes.

I'm now still a long way to reach the goal that God have given to us.

I'm not satisfied on how i speak, i act, i think.

You may think I'm a perfect girl. but, dear, you are wrong. I'm just a normal girl with habits that need to deal with. a girl with attitude that need to be changed.

I can be emotional until i don't think when i act and end up hurting people with my actions and word. I' m sorry.

I am so thirsty inside me. the desire of wanting something to be filled in me. anything that i do in my mind not my heart. with my mind, its like dragging my heavy body. Why?

There is something i need to confess. When there is no need, i really won't shop. Usually people say that women love to shop, I do agree. I ll also do that, but i m more too window shopping. Look around and see what are the new things around. Just for that. Unless, I do need some cloths.

I m still a girl, likes pretty cloths, likes to see fashion magazine, likes accessories too. I just don't buy them yet.. just hold my horses first. ^^

haha... this I must remember before i forgot.

Just now my sister called at 12.45pm. she ask that if i can go pick her up at school.. So, i say to her. i don wan to.. cause need to change and then go down.. She say she s hungry and will reach home only after 2pm.. I ask there is no school bus today? she say she don know cause didnt saw anybody that use the same bus with her. maybe they all go back already. i said, so you wan to waste the school bus fee to pick you up? then she said, okokok, forget about it.. byebyebyebye..

then she just hung up. i haven even finish my conversation.

So this is something i know about my sister.

she is impatient when it comes to waiting. she like fast pace. she won't really ask one thing lots of times unless she really wan it. don really like to be alone. can't stand of being hungry. when she is good, she will treat ppl nice. when she is angry, she ll blow anything no matter who you are.

she is a good friend among friends and family. what she hate, she like, you ll know it from her face. she sometimes she talks rough but she dont really mean it. its her style (some sort of way). she likes to share anything happen to her, about her family, about her friends, about what she like. a good chatter. got lots of different opinion on different things.

but now she is still not talking with my cousin, Janice. its been almost a year already. pray for both of them. two

this is what i know in year 2010. do you also know her? she s funny when she know her. but at first not really easy to get close. hahha...

P.S. : Actually today my car is in the clinic, so i cant take it out. but really like to say something other than the truth to see her reaction. haha... sometimes, because of this naughtiness, i end up having misunderstandings. haha...

Today's Japanese class went well. =) althought still got some of it I don't understand yet. hheehe..

this afternoon I went to aunt's house to take away bibi's lunch back ,since she's been asking it everytime she comes home. I leave it at the computer table upstairs.

A sunny day today. I put the bedsheets from the guest room to wash. Grandma is going to stay from tonight. while waiting for the bedsheets and pillow cases, I put the blanket under the sun and the comforter after that.

*dididi..* the bedsheets are ready. Under the bright warm sun, you can see the clear blue sky with little white clouds fooling around. I line the bedsheets at the tip of the front gate.

bibi is not back yet.

I went upstairs finishing my Japanese drama. 'Operation Love, episod 5'.

Its 2.50pm. I recall my own plan of clean up the house. I hesitate. A bit lazy actually. hehhe.. but, I ve nothing else to do. ( not really nothing, but really like nothing to do since the sem break starts. )

So i started sweeping, moping.

Its 4.00 pm. Mum called. She said, " You haven't go over (to aunt's house)?" "e.. not yet." "you need to make egg tarts for my friend. I told you yesterday already." "did you?... oO... ok. bye."

I was halfway wiping the floor. Oh o!! I need to be fast.

4.23pm. Finish wiping the floor. clean up the toilet. put the floor cloth to dry. Ready for shower.

Bibi is not back yet... She follow my father home?? I don know.

finish shower. finally can go over to make egg tart. looking at the container with porridge from aunt's. I bring it over with me again.

met uncle and siew siew at the living room. Asked for the tart base. She s still busy with the last Chicken pie. So I went back to the kitchen to finish up the porridge. Haiz.. She didn't come back until 8.30pm

When my family come back, no one said anything about the floor os something. Is it not clean enough to be obvious? Maybe. =p or it is what i should do ? hhehe.. sometime human need to be encouraged and get a little attention. that's human.

but then don't yearn for men's praises, but let God's glory be shown through you.

hahha.. ha~ i just had fun with God. i asked a question. can i go to Singapore with my Grandmother at the 22nd of may.

I prayed for a sign. i said if the phone rang on 9.00 pm, no matter who called, then i ll go. i waited for almost an hour.

the clock at my mac stated 9.02pm.

The phone didn't rang. i was just... okay, lord. i got you. hahahha... its been awhole since i play games with my father up heaven.. hahahh.... Actually, before this i prayed that if the tickets are both less than RM 100, then i ll go. Apparently, its almost RM 200. so i gave up. haahh.. this time i confirm again. Naughty and almost rebellious. hahah..

God's way of letting you move is really speechless.

Days before I got this calling to send someone home from the bus stop. but I ignored it. My heart will tell me good, you should go ahead and approach; my mind tell me its too busybody.

So last night, I waited for my friend, Jiayi, at CAIS (UNIMAS library) to finish her discussion with Meimei on BM project. I met her at 8.30pm after fail searching for ethernet plugs with a power outlet nearby. (there is just too man poeple there last night, so i gave up)

they are half way to finish, so Jiayi ask me to find some Directing book with simple English for her. I wondered around at level 2 and 1 to find the book. Found a directing, a directors interview, a meaning of signs in cinema and a colour book. heheh. interesting books... hope can finish somehow. XD I went back and they and still discussing. I sat and a nearby table to read the books i borrowed, but I slept on the table. woke up couple of times, not finish. I went to surf at the lower floor.

when we prepare to leave CAIS, its already 11.06pm. We reach the car and someone from the bus stop approach us. The ask for the bus's arrival. Unfortunately, they miss the time. She with her friend is from the East Campus which is a 5 minute drive from the west campus.. It ll be a long way to walk in the late night.

So i drop them at their college. Its a dark drive when you almost reach there cause the boy's college beside it is now empty. So there is no light there. Dark.

On the way back, i thought of this event. I think that God is really doing in his ways to let you follow His ways.

Amazing about last night. It felt like you are spreading the love in your neighborhood. I love it. I love God.

I often prayed and ask how can I show God s love. So... That is IT. That is LOVE!

For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not be perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

being a producer is not easy as i thought it is. Its not just being the boss but also the mother of all crew, the counselor, the friend for each. still in the process of learning here.

being reminded to have a strong intention and motive on finishing our group's short film, its a start for me. my attitude before is the nothing-is-too-important kind. and this let me to become careless, irresponsible, and ignorant. and mostly lazy and sometime arrogant.

Now I m a cinematography student. I think that this path is laid out by GOD, prepared with His own hands.

I didn't choose this program myself, its chosen by my cousin. Thank you to her that i had lots fun till now.

I can't.. can't... Ahhh!! Its not easy.. but.. but... I want to change!! I want!! I WANT!!

Its time to change! to really change!! my self discipline, my faithfulness on one thing and the commitment.

All need to be awaken. I remembered how i prayed to god about this issue but.. no action really last long for me.

this time because of being a servant of God for love, a producer and a student to work with assingment dues.

tell you guys! this drama have this most crying scene i ve i ever seen. Almost every episode you ll see someone cry. no matter its the main or sub character. Wow! and i mean its not very easy to deal with cry scenes for me.

I m impressed with the directer of this drama. Its a SHE. hahahh~ seldom i saw a female standing on the biggest position among all. i like her style in directing. i can learn from her. =)

this afternoon went to Hills for Skin Food with bibi. ^^ Skin Food in Kuching is finally open. I bought a cleansing foam and a box of cotton and 2 more stamps. hahah.. I bought the box of cotton pads so that i can have another stamp.=P

Clint Eastwood Directing Techniques - Directing Actor

What do Gene Hackman, Sean Penn, Tim Robbins, Morgan Freeman and Hilary Swank all have in common?

They all won Academy Awards under the direction of Clint Eastwood. So how does he do it? How does Clint Eastwood manage to get great performances from all his actors? It helps that Eastwood himself is an actor and, as such, understands the acting process.

But more importantly, Eastwood knows that the key to directing actors to great performances is creating a set environment where the actor feels safe. An actor is more likely to be uninhibited and take risks when they are relaxed and feel safe. Clint Eastwood uses a variety of techniques to create and maintain a safe environment in which his actors can work. The Moose will go through several of these techniques.

When directing actors, the most important thing that you can do as a director is to trust your actors. Don’t be a dictatorial puppet master. Allow them to have input into their performances and come up with ideas of their own. This will allow them the freedom to try something different and bold instead of playing it safe.

Clint Eastwood often casts his actors off of tape. He watches actors performances in other movies and television shows to get a feeling of what they can do. Then when the actors arrive on set, he allows them to show him what they want to do in a scene. Eastwood may give them an adjustment, but, for the most part, he trusts his actors. He knows what they are capable of from their past performances and thus trusts his actors to do their preparation and homework.

The reason why this works for Eastwood is that he has a reputation for doing very few takes. The actors know that Eastwood will only shoot two or three takes the majority of the time and often prints and uses the first take in his movies. If you make a mistake, it will probably end up in the movie. In the hands of a lesser director, shooting in this manner will likely end up in disaster like an Ed Wood movie, but it works for Clint Eastwood because of the trust that he gives his actors. The actors know that Clint trusts them as well as how he shoots and as a result, they show up on set knowing their material and ready to go from the onset

Another technique that Clint Eastwood uses to create a comfortable set is his refusal to use the standard “Action!” and “Cut!” cues. Instead, Eastwood just rolls the cameras and lets the actors start the scene whenever they’re ready. Then he will just signal for the camera to cut. Or, if he is in a talking sort of mood, he sometimes will say “that’s enough of that shit” or something like that.

The reason Eastwood eschews from the traditional “Action!” and “Cut!” cues is that those commands, usually shouted out so that everyone on the set can hear, can be disruptive to an actor’s concentration. They create an atmosphere that is a little more formal and a little less natural. If an actor is in his pre-scene, an “Action!” can be intrusive and take them out of the moment. Likewise, someone yelling “Cut!” can be a little jarring to an actor focused in the moment and make it harder for them to slip back into the scene for another take.

So how does the set know when the cameras are rolling then? This leads to another technique that Clint Eastwood uses to create a comfortable and safe environment for his actors. On a typical set, only certain key people will have radios and earpieces. On an Eastwood set, almost everyone has an earpiece. This allows Eastwood and his crew to communicate with each other in a quiet manner that is not disruptive to the actors.

In addition, this technique helps elicit better reactions and performances from a crowd scene or a scene with extras because the extras and supporting players never know when the cameras are rolling. They are forced to stay quiet and in their characters because they do not want to be yelled at for ruining a take. This is an excellent production technique and can be used at all levels of filmmaking.

recently, i ve not watch enough movie.. and read enough books. haha.. that day went to see my mentor ( Mdm Candida) to take my result and she said that ' Lydia.. why is the course beside you re own program doesn't score well? ' ( she said something like that.. one can't remember much, can she.. ) " i don't know... (usual answer XD) Maybe i m not interested. hehe.."

later, she talk about other things.. and said that i need to use much imagination in making film/story. she said that a diretor named Francis Ford Coppola once said,

you can be/do anything in film, but if you don't have IMAGINATION, then you've got nothing.

So, imagination IS important. Yet, "you still need the knowledge of film." she said.

Hahaha... sometimes i really could laugh at myself. think too much. experiencing changes here. hhaah...
the music coarse thingy is just a confusion. this teach me a lesson : be firm on what you decide and be positive.

now i got to settle down. put some weight in things i doing. you see, i have a bad habit. i don want to be serious in things so that i ll not be thinking of it from time to time. but actually, i think its laziness. too lazy to care so much it became a habit unawareness in things happening, forgetful. knowledge learned can't stay long enough.

really need to learn to be awake.

now friends, for you that don't know yet, i m now a student at UNIMAS on Cinematography. since i m on it, hope that i can overcome it. lots of new knowledge got to download to my mind. pray for me that i could save it well in my mind and the initiative to do homework and research.

the full moon tonight is glowing to its fullness. the white madame postured gracefully in front of her dark glass window with thousands of shimmering fireflies steadied the bushes hided in darkness behind.

its beautiful.

now, i m a dark searching for light. i almost found it. almost. there is a slight gap for light to show itself. but then, its only for awhile.

i m finding a way to be steady under the massive ray of brightness or even letting it overwhelm me.
i m still finding.

Wawa.. i m back at Kuching again. but this afternoon have a 2 pm flight to KL. hhahahah..... like a business man going to places this year. hehhe.. you can be at Sibu yesterday night, tonight in Kuching, tomorrow at KL. its quite fun actually, at least for me. for some, its really exausted. sometimes, yes. you ll get tired. but its temporary. So, have fun!! hahhah..

heheh.. just now saw the overflow water beside my uncle's house. the water surface is moving. Little fish are swimming here and there, making circular waves as they wiggle their tail. its a sight that caught my eyes. the waves are busy sliding outwards meeting each other. wave to wave.

the calmness is not in it today.
the water flowed down stream and up stream the whole day.

on Monday night, my mum phoned me. She said, for some reasons, that i m too independent. everything i ll try to settle it myself. hhaha...

i can fly over alone to KL to send my passport for applying VISA when i was twelve. not afraid, no tears and bold.

She said its not good. Maybe she thinks i m not relying on her. XD
i admit that i kept things to my self. my feeling, my trouble, my opinion, my decision. but now i learning to share and talk it out sometimes. hheheh..still learning.

about it, i think i ll just look at the bright side. independent is also good. hahha..

P.S. I heard that Kapit is raining heavily just now. and now the water level is a few feet higher this time there. so maybe tomorrow will be a flood day. hhehe..

this morning went to SHS (Sacred Heart School) for 受难日崇拜.
my heart, my spirit can't be calm down.

This morning was a bad weather, hugh rain and wind. my long jeans are wet at the bottom, the sandal i always wear turned out to be dirty when i reached the school hall.
Since we were late, we sat at the last few rows. The hall was floaded.... with people, of course.^^

my feeling, had too much things, too much unnessasaries. i can't really hear anything the speaker said. not a word, until a watched that movie. it emptied everything so that i could focus again.

A movie that always touch my heart, a movie that i would always ask why, why do you have that passion to all mankind, a movie that never fail to revive my spirit to serve, to remind me that i should be getting on my feet, to stand, to walk.

a movie named - The passion of Christ.
this is a movie that i admire very much. not only the acting skill that is shown naturally but also the producion of the whole movie and the story and the willingness of every actor and actress. i really need to get the making of this movie.

i realised something while typing this.. only the bound, the relationship between man that could touch my heart. That bound is..

my trip this year-nonstop excitement. XD
i m just back on 22 Jan, midnight and my room was

Wow!!

very messy (someone rearranged my thing for clean up), full of dust (no one has touch my stuffs for 1 month, especially my bed-i cant even use my fav blanket, hug my mushy pillow or sleep on it. hhaha..) and the air is damp (raining frequently before i m back). after i ve reach home with my tired body, i ended up talking with my parents till 1.30 am. hahha.. tell them somethings about my life in Melaka. Long time no chat with them le. =)

23 Jan. one day in kuching, but most of the time at home. i haven met my friends or even chat with my cousin, Ming about my life out. hehe.. at home online, listen to songs and getting my baggage ready for my next trip to Miri the next day. whew.. a lil busy. hahhah..

24 Jan. morning flight to Miri. 7 am departure time. i drive my parents with all our luggage at 6 am to check-in. drive home. 6.20 am my aunt sent my sis and me to the airport. reached at 6.30 am. met my parents with uncle ling xu and his family. go through the scanners. down the excavator. rush to gate 5. just in time for calling. It is the first time i didnt wait at the terminal for our flight. hahahah... in the ended it was a heart pumping, exciting morning. XD

so my trip.. one day here, somewhere else the next day. fun? Thrilled! i ll say.

and the most most fantastic thing is.......

This week i learn to be a speaker preaching on stage. 讲道学. ^^
very much fun with pastor Eddie. He teach us that preaching is a way of communication, giving information of the bible to all fellow church member. he taught us all the art, the style, the technique to give a sermon. hehheh... a good experience. =)

friends, so fast 3 weeks is over. next week i m going back to Kuching for Chinese New Year. hope to meet all of you then. XD

=) me here very good. thanks to God i got delicious food every meal.. hheeheh..
this week we learn about how to open the door of worship and anointing. the speaker is very good at giving us all the points to let us understand better. =)
this week is i start to be the second keyboard to play strings. Wa! tell you o.. play piano in free worship really need more knowledge and the holy spirit to let it flow. hehhe.. i ve never played like this before.. and o.. most of the time, no chord, no score, only your mind. a very spontaneous worship. THIS i got to learn. XD
pray for me o.. let me worship with my heart, my soul, my spirit and my body.

friends! i can online le..hhahha.. very happy. =) me here very nice o.
the first time i m here i got Guo Fu as my guide from Pudujaya(bas station), KL to Melaka sentral(bas station). so nice.. he chat with me all the way, 2 hrs something. haha.. a friendly guys. ^^ something very sorry to him is that i don know that he s young and i call hin 'uncle'. hehe.. cause i only talk with him through phone, never saw him. so sorry.. now i know that i got to call a person as how they are introdoced.hehhe..

now i live in a new hostel. a lot of things haven t settle down, but thank god that here have WiFi. hhehe.. so i can use my friend s laptop to online.

i ve met dozen of friends, not to mention some of them are from Hong Kong, China and Los Angles. XD

this place is really blessed by God. We, as student of God, can enjoy God s presence and learn more about his words and ways. I m BLESSED. Thank you God, the one in Heaven.

when is the last time you desire to go in the Lord's presence, a thirsty soul that longing to be filled with the holy spirit, the joy and comfort indescribable?

when is the last time you seek the Lord's face when things trouble your mind, even it is just choosing a good hairstyle?

when is the last time you be still and know that the Lord is God?

hehe.. these are some songs i sang at Fight For Christ in Melaka. the songs of worship are GREAT!! Its a revival camp for youth. So all youngsters out there, i strongly recommend this camp for you to get more of the lord and know HIM all over again. Its an exciting moment for me each time i went. I was revived by the spirit of the lord. All the speakers are blessed by the lord with their message.
I give thank to the LORD up heaven for each opportunity to be with HIM.
the next date of this event is on 24-27 August 2009. Don't miss it!! (you can book the ticket after you ve decided, cause its cheap now. XD...)

Your God has set you above your companions by anointing with the oil of joy. so we must pay more careful attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.

a trip to sarakraf

on 8th of nov, i went to Sarakraf Pavilion with my friends. its was a trip organised by CES to let us learn more about our local culture. =)

then, we took some shots for fun.. hhehe... they are funny finding the right angle.XD

someone who loves me

i was meeting my god this early morning when i recalled of a CD bought by mom. still wrapped nicely in its thin layer of plastic. the title 'Someone who loves me', i thought was a Chinese song album... yet it was printed in white labeled 'the first piano album'. to my surprised then when i played it, IT was a Korean album gracefully accompanied with the touch of the pianist. Lee Jin was her name. Amazingly wonderful, thanks to the lord that let my mother bought it. I never took notice of it when it came to me. it was then kept it my CD box till this morning and i almost forgot about it until that day when i m looking for some chinese CD for my mom's friend.
this moment listening it was planned by God before i knew anything. hehheh.. He s awesome. all praise to him. You guys should listen this. a clear sound of the piano formed by the pianist. too bad i can't found any of the album's cover online.. but still you can borrow from me.. thats no problem. ^-^

one morning, i went to school earlier than usual.. i was weak in spirit that moment. i sat in front of my desk, put my hand into my backpack to reach an expired devotion booklet that dated Dec 2007, Jan 2008, Feb 2008. i turned to the last page with the title 'Topic Index'. my eyes scanned through the list of topic and stopped at something i might need that moment: Salvation. i turned to Dec 6 and the title is Gifts within The Gift

the content written was about Jesus as The gift where in him, there are more gifts, special gifts indeed.

Forgiveness of sin.
7In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace. (Ephesians 1:7)

Teaching from the Holy Spirit.

26But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. (John14:26)

Eternal Life and a home in heaven.

i m back. i m back on track with my father above.
Last night i went to City Harvest Church to listen God's word. When the music was in the air... the drum, the bass, the guitars, the piano.. the voice of people worshiping.. the shouting praising.. the declaration with faith.. I could feel the Lord's presence.. the moment i closed my eyes, a voice said to me.. 'how long have you not come back?' my tears filled the corner of my eyes. I m back, abba father. I m back in your presence. how long have i wondering outside the house of yours while the door is always open? how long have you called me in but i didn't listen? Now, i m back, back with the holy spirit inside me. i could feel the desire awakening, burning in me. just like the verse in Romans 12:11, 'Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual in fervor, serving the Lord' Let me stay forever in you, abba.

The speaker was amazing!! the way he gives teaching was incredible, easy to understand yet full of wisdom. 朱植森牧师 from 台北真道教会. He let the gospel be known to me as a fresh anointing. The salvation is REAL. '...by his wounds we ARE HEALED' Isaiah 53:5 All of our wounds, our sickness, were healed two thousand years before, when Jesus was nailed on the cross. We ARE already healed. The key to have it is just believe that Jesus can. XD its so easy yet not all take that step. Have faith and you'll see miracles happen.

i love it when pastor Choo say 'everybody say amen.''Amen!!' the crowd will reply. its a very good way to practice declaration of faith. Somewhere between the sermon, he will say 'everybody say Jesus is the lord that heals.''Jesus is the Lord that heals.''I don't think that you are sure that Jesus can heal. Say it with me again. Jesus...''IS THE LORD THAT HEALS.''Halleluyah! praise the Lord.' pastor Choo will say. i love it very much to interact with him on stage and emphasize on the important words. heehee...

hahha.. i found out another thing last night.. that is praying in tongue is a bullet-speed prayer to reach heaven where is normal prayer that use our own words is like a car-speed prayer. Praying in tongue in a type of comminicado to god in spirit. the good news is.. you can eventually learn it!! its a really an amazing way of praying. hhehe.. So you guys out there, go and learn, receive it from the holy spirit.
God Blesses all who seek His face. Amen
